James McLean is a musician (Singer/Acoustic Guitarist) available for hire based in London. James will play at events across the UK and further afield (weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, proposals, corporate events etc…)

Born in the UK and spending part of his childhood in France, James went on to study a diploma in guitar at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London and a degree in Music at The University of Nottingham.

James is a double award nominated songwriter and his songs are played across the world on TV shows such as Made In Chelsea, The Voice, America’s Next Top Model and many more. 

He has played at some of the most prestigious wedding venues across the globe and has made over 400 events that little bit more special. He also is in high demand to provide quality corporate entertainment from major corporations.

When playing at events James is versatile in his repertoire, playing anything from modern hits to your favourite classics. If you have a specific song you’d like to hear at the event, be sure to let him know beforehand and he’ll learn it for you without a problem.

Logistics

James will provide a P.A system and a microphone (All equipment is PAT tested). All he requires is a small space to set up in and a working plug socket. Set up takes approximately 30mins, an appropriate time to set up can be arranged. Being a member of Musicians’ Union, James is covered with Public Liability Insurance.

The standard set list is constantly changing as new songs are added every month. If there is a song you would like played at your event that is not on the list, please mention this in your enquiry and James will learn it for you. A typical set will include some of the following songs:
